The Montessori Method of education, developed by Dr. Maria Montessori, is a child-centered educational approach based on scientific observations of children from birth to adulthood. Dr Montessori’s method has been time-tested, with over 100 years of success in diverse cultures throughout the world. It is the view of a child as one who is naturally eager for knowledge and capable of initiating learning in a supportive, thoughtfully prepared learning environment. It is an approach that values the human spirit and the development of the whole child – physical, social, emotional and cognitive. Tadika Xaris adopts the Montessori philosophy and creates the environment for children to learn by making discoveries with materials provided, besides cultivating concentration, motivation, self-discipline, and a love for learning.

STEAM is an integrated approach to learning using Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts & Mathematics as access points for guiding children. In our curriculum at Tadika Xaris, STEAM activities are always planned to encourage and challenge children’s natural sense of curiosity.  STEAM activities also aim at developing children to be a creative thinkers in finding solutions to problems and ultimately build a strong foundation for future learning.
