About Tadika Xaris
We are committed to make your child the centre of our work. We aim to work in partnership with parents to enhance the abilities and skills of the whole child including physical, intellectual, language, emotional and social development.

Our Principal
Datin Ang's experience with young children started since 1982. She graduated and work as a cost accountant in 1985. She was also a teacher in Foon Yew High School from 1988 - 1992. With a growing love for children, Datin Ang decided to concentrate on children's education and has since 28 years ago started a chain of 7 Tadika Xaris, running curriculum designed and written by herself in the city of Johor Bahru and 13 Eye Level learning centres in the state of Johor

Blended Learning
The blended learning curriculum is designed by incorporating the best learning methods from various countries. Our specially designed & yearly-updated curriculum is aligned with the curriculum by the Ministry of Education. Our curriculum prepares the 3 & 4 years old to read, write, speak and listen, and prepares the 5 & 6 years olds to be ready for International and Local Primary School.

Tailor-made  Learning Workbooks
Every child is unique and has his/her own learning pace and abilities. With this in mind, Tadika Xaris designs and develops its own learning workbooks that are tailor-made to meet the individual child's needs and progress. The 3 languages (English, Bahasa Malaysia & Chinese) and Mathematics workbooks  are reviewed yearly and will be amended anytime to suit children's progress and development

Quality Teachers
Regular quality and up-to-date trainings are provided to all our teachers. Teachers are sent to attend international Early Childhood Education conferences, school visits and study tours to various parts of the world such as Singapore, Netherlands, Iceland, Belgium, Japan, Korea & the United Kingdom.

In the course of time to keep up with the global trends, Tadika Xaris adopts a blended approach from visits to Finland, Belgium, Netherlands, Japan, China & Singapore.

More methods are incorporated into our programmes to discover and enhance each child's fullest potential by building up self-confidence, self-motivation & independence within a well-prepared environment with activities including unstructured and self-directed play.

Our curriculum allows children to grow at their own pace, thus retaining their individuality as they develop each unique personality. We advocate the belief the education must prepare children for schools, as well as for life!
 Montessori Philosophy 
The Montessori Method of education, developed by Dr Maria Montessori, is a child-centered educational approach vased on scientific observations of children from birth to adulthood. Dr Montessori's method has been time=tested, with over 100 years of success in diverse culture throughout the world. it is the view of as child as one who is naturally eager for knowledge and capable of initiating learning in supportive, thoughtfully prepared learning environment. It is an approach that values the human spirit and the development of the whole child -= physical, social, emotional and cognitive. Tadika Xaris adopts the Montessori philosophy and creates the enviroment for children to learn by manking discoveries with material provided, besides cultivating concentration, motivation, self-discipline, and a love for learning.
 Play-based Learning 
Play-baed learning is essentially learning while at play. Play helps children learn about themselves, make sense and understand the world around them. Play-based learning supports the physical, social, emotional and cognitive development of children. Tadika Xaris incorporates Dramatic Play, Constructive Play, Water Play, Sand Play & Critical Thinking Games into its curriculum for children to play on their own as well as with their peers.
STEAM Concept 
STEAM is an integrated approach to learning using Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics as access points for guiding children. In our curriculum at Tadika Xaris, STEAM activities are always planned to encourage and challenge children's natural sense of curiosity, STEAM activities also aim at developing children to be a creative thinker in finding solutions to problems and ultimately build a strong foundation for future learning.
[NEW] Day Care Programme
Our Day Car Programme aims at creating a homely atmospherre for children in our care where basic needs are well taken care of. Proper & balanced meals are served daily for children's healthy growth.

Children taking shower on their own develops independent living skills at our Day Care Programme. We also provide a secure and conducive room for children to have their afternoon naps.

Where learning is concerned, thematic approach is incorporated to enable children's learning takes place within a variety of theme-based activities. In project based activities, children are given the opportunity to share their ideas, make decisions and be involved in problem-solving.
